Pseudo-Isochromatic Plates For Color Blindness Testing The Pseudo-Isochromatic Testing System is an effective means of detecting a below normal ability to distinguish between colors. A color swatch test will yield inaccurate results, as some color blind people can determine primary color swatch by their grayscale, lightness or darkness, rather than hue. There are two sections to this test. The first section has Arabic numerals made up of dots on a field of other colored dots. The first card has colors with sharp contrast, to be used as a demonstration card. The second section contains curved lines in place of numerals. This section is designed as a corroborative test when an individual fails the first section. Test sheets included. Weight: 2 lbs.
